Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela will be an Inter Milan player in the next few days, according to his father.
The Argentinian international has failed to settle in England and hasn't impressed during his two year stint at White Hart Lane.
Lamela Struggles in England
Lamela, who is Spurs' club-record transfer, signed for the north London club from AS Roma back in 2013, after they splashed the cash due to Gareth Bale joining Real Madrid for £85million.

A large portion of that income went on signing Lamela, with the initial fee being around £26m, and a further £4m to be added on thanks to bonuses and add-ons.
Despite being the club's record transfer, the 23-year-old has only played 45 Premier League games for Spurs, scoring just twice, and after failing to impress Mauricio Pochettino since he took over from Tim Sherwood, Lamela has been left out of the first-team squad.
According to some reports, Inter were set to sign him on a permanent basis after offering the Premier League outfit £25m, however it's now been revealed that that isn't the case and it will in fact be a loan deal for now.
Lamela will return to Serie A on a season-long loan, which will cost Inter £4.4m, with a view to making it a permanent switch this time next year.
The Argentine was a huge hit in Italy during his Roma days, making 62 league appearances and scoring 19 goals in the process. However, he failed to show that form in England and according to his father, he could be back in Italy come the weekend.
Deal Confirmed by Father
Lamela's dad has been speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, and confirmed that a deal is very close to being completed.
“I can confirm the rumours are true and the interest for Erik is real," he said.
"We are waiting for more developments over the next few days.
“We would like a return to Italy and are open to negotiations.
"It’s true that he gave his best in Italy and that is probably more suited to his characteristics.
“Erik was very happy in Serie A and had two great years with Roma. We would like a return to Serie A and we appreciate the Inter option.”
According to the same report, Inter have agreed that to make the move permanent, they will pay just £10.3m this time next year.
