The Cleveland Browns haven't had the greatest of times as of late.
The Browns two first round draft picks from 2014 in Johnny Manziel and Justin Gilbert ended up both being big failures, in very different ways, while star wide receiver Josh Gordon went and got himself suspended for the second season in a row.
Well, things don't seem to be getting any better in the short-term with the aforementioned Manziel going down with an injury.

Shutting Down JFF
Manziel will likely shut down his sore elbow for a while, and the Browns might sign another backup quarterback, according to a report from Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
Manziel underwent an MRI, but it showed no structural damage, Browns head coach Mike Pettine said. Pettine went on to add thatManziel has suffered elbow soreness since high school and that he's managed it.
Pettine described the elbow problem as a "minor setback. We're going to be cautious. He went a little too far with it.''
Manziel has not thrown with his right arm in practice since Sunday, when he left practice early. He did not throw Monday or Wednesday.
"It hasn't come back as quickly as we had hoped," Pettine said. "To be cautious, we didn't want to rush him back now for a preseason game and have it be something that is chronic."
After undrafted free agent Connor Shaw was lost for some time following surgery, and now Manziel absence, the Browns only have starter Josh McCown and former Buffalo Bills man Thaddeus Lewis available to play in the rest of pre-season.
