Real eager to bounce back

Primera Liga leaders Real Madrid are keen to put their midweek Copa del Rey defeat to Real Mallorca behind them when they face city rivals Atletico in the Primera Liga on Sunday.

Real´s surprise 1-0 loss at home to Mallorca put them out of the competition 3-1 on aggregate and ended talk of a possible treble this season.

A derby match is hardly the best time to try and heal wounds, but Real have a good record against their neighbours and are undefeated in the Vicente Calderon since a 3-1 defeat back in 1999.
