Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has insisted that he's happy Pedro didn't sign for the Red Devils in this transfer window.
In the video which can be seen below, the former United shot-stopper claimed that he only wants players who want to join the club, and is convinced something is happening in Manchester ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.
Pedro, of course, completed a move to United's Premier League rivals Chelsea, and enjoyed a fine debut for the west London outfit, but Schmeichel doesn't appear to be too concerned.

The United hero stated: “I’m quite happy that Pedro didn’t happen because Pedro didn’t seem for me the right kind of guy, and he chose Chelsea, so…. for me, I want someone who chooses Manchester United because he wants to play for the best football club in the world, and I think those guys are out there.
"There are some options and I'm convinced that something is happening that we don't know about and suddenly they will call you in and tell you all the good news."
Let's be honest, it's clear for all to see that Manchester United could do with improving in the striker department if they are serious about overhauling Chelsea at the summit of the Premier League table this season.
At the end of the day, despite his brilliant hat-trick in midweek against Belgian outfit Club Brugge, Wayne Rooney is in need of added competition up top in Manchester.
Of course, the likes of Javier Hernandez, James Wilson and the versatile duo of Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj are at Louis van Gaal's disposal, but a world-class addition would no doubt boost the club's chances of silverware.
