Jose Mourinho takes aim at Juventus boss

Published 3 Comments

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hit out at Massimiliano Allegri after the Juventus boss made comments about Blues duo Oscar and Ramires.

The Serie A champions have been chasing both midfielders throughout the summer, after seeing both Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo leave the club for Bayern Munich and New York City respectively.

Juventus' Interest in Chelsea Duo

Juve are in the market to strengthen their midfield department and throughout the break, Allegri has confirmed in the media that he's interested in signing both Oscar and Ramires.

However, when Mourinho was asked about his interest in Juve star Paul Pogba, he refused to comment in public to the media and pointed the finger at Allegri for doing exactly that earlier on in the window.

The Old Lady have recently captured Juan Cuadrado from The Blues on a season-long loan, but earlier on in the window they made it public knowledge that they were after one of Oscar or Ramires.

However, the Premier League champions refused to sell either so Allegri had to go back to square one and re-identify a possible transfer target.

Chelsea Interest in Pogba

Since ending their interest, the transfer speculation has been surrounding Pogba, with some reports claiming Chelsea have already had one formal bid turned down for the Frenchman.

It's stated that Mourinho's men are keeping aside £72million just in case they can convince Juve to sell before the deadline.

When asked about their interest in the midfielder, Mourinho refused to comment and admitted he wouldn't say anything because he isn't one of his players.

However, he was happy to warn Allegri over the comments he made about Oscar and Ramires.

Mourinho Not Happy

“He is a Juventus player,” Mourinho said.

“I did a little critic at my friend Allegri because I didn’t like him speaking during the summer about Oscar and Ramires.

“I’m not going to be like that with Pogba. He is a Juventus player.”
