Fan reportedly attempts to stab Dean Ambrose

Published 10 Comments

WWE superstars have a lot of fan interaction when they're not in the ring, but when those barries are up, they can usually have as much or as little to do with the fans as they want.

That wasn't the case for Dean Ambrose this week though as it was confirmed that a fan scaled the barricade and targeted the Lunatic Fringe.

Big rumours

The incident reportedly happened at the most recent Smackdown tapings but apparently security were on hand to defuse the situation.

Ambrose is one of the more popular superstars in the WWE right now but clearly not everyone is a fan of the charismatic superstar.

One fan jumped over the barrier and was soon taken down by security, but the rumours from the other fans who witnessed the incident are much more alarming.

It is fair to say that we would expect the WWE superstars to be able to hold off a fan if it came to that situation, but some have reported that the fan had worse intentions.

This wasn't the only fan to claim that the the man was running at Ambrose with a knife and if that is true, it is a truely horrific story.

The rumour that he was holding a knife has not actually been confirmed though, it is only the eye witnesses in the crowd who have made that claim.

The security team fortunately stopped the man before he reached the superstar but the question is what would of happened if they hadn't?

While many of us may be wondering why someone would want to target on of the most popular superstars on the roster, the answer may never be uncovered.
