Deal done

Chelsea completed the signing of Senegalese defender Papy Djilobodji last night, although the deal hasn’t been officially confirmed.

According to The Independent a deal for the 26-year-old was agreed yesterday with Nantes for a lowly £2.7million.

The same report says that the Blues are still looking to tie up a late move for Everton’s John Stones, though said signing gives them cover if they can’t push that one through.

Moses to West Ham

On another front Victor Moses will pen a new deal with Chelsea but is to spend this season on loan with West Ham.

According to various sources the Nigerian will be playing in claret and blue this campaign, but will return to Stamford Bridge once more next summer.

Pogba rumours

Lastly Juventus star Paul Pogba continues to be linked with the Blues, though that deal doesn’t look feasible before the end of the day.

For one thing he's the Turin side's star man and for another he'll cost a king's ransom to procure. Perhaps that's one for next summer.
