Another one on the move

They’ve got rid of Mario Balotelli, they’ve got rid of Rickie Lambert and they’ve got rid of Fabio Borini. It appears that Liverpool are still keen on offloading one more outcast from their ranks however, with Jose Enrique close to securing a move to West Brom.

Sky Sports sources have it said the Spaniard is edging close to a transfer to The Hawthorns, with a deal likely before 6pm.

Signing complete

Elsewhere the Reds have seemingly won the race to sign African starlet Taiwo Awoniyi, according to reports.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from FC Porto and AS Monaco, but the Reds are thought to have secured his signature with an £800,000 offer that could rise to £3m depending on add-ons.

Markovic done

Lastly it was confirmed over the weekend that Lazar Markovic has joined Fenerbahce on loan. Another one bites the dust, it would seem.

Don’t fret though, Brendan Rodgers has already confirmed that the Serbian does have a Merseyside future. That may obviously depend on how he fares this season though.
