Wilson on the cards

Manchester United may have already let Javier Hernandez join Bayer Leverkusen, but James Wilson is still looking likely to be loaned out as well.

With the Red Devils about to sign Anthony Martial Louis van Gaal is confident over his attacking options, and Wilson will have two clubs to pick from.

It’s believed his choice as to who he will play for next year is either Tottenham Hotspur or West Brom. Since Jonny Evans and Darren Fletcher are both now plying their trade for the latter we’re willing to lean towards them.

Di Maria barb

Meanwhile Angel Di Maria has taken a deadline day parting shot at Van Gaal, claiming it was difficult to work with the Dutchman.

He joined PSG earlier this summer, but looked to shift part of the blame for his Manchester failings onto his old manager.

Griezmann a possibility?

Lastly United might sign Antoine Griezmann, but they’ll need to match his £46.1m release clause first. It’s The Telegraph who are refusing to rule that one out.

In all honest the chances of Van Gaal taking Atletico Madrid's prize jewel are slim. Even more so since the Spanish window is now shut. January anyone?
