WWE: Who else should join The Wyatt Family?

Published 3 Comments

Last week on Monday Night Raw the WWE Universe were introduced to the newest member of The Wyatt Family.

Braun Strowman made his presence felt in the tag team match between Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, as they took on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

Strowman showcased his strength as he took out both Reigns and Ambrose by himself.

New Additions?

The addition of Strowman has triggered speculation that Wyatt could continue adding members to the family, making them much stronger.

One of the bigger rumours of the past week suggested that the WWE were looking to bring a female into the group to play Sister Abigail.

Erick Rowan is also currently on the shelf, and his involvement with the group is also unknown.

But if more members are to be added to The Wyatt Family then the WWE need to look to the Ministry of Darkness or even Raven’s Flock for inspiration. They proved a large group can bring success.

You can’t just throw people into the group for the sake of it. This is why I believe Bo Dallas shouldn’t be a member of The Wyatt Family. Sure, they look similar because they are brothers. That doesn’t necessarily mean they need to utilise their relationship for a storyline.

Wyatt’s gimmick is one where he converts people to his beliefs, and join The Wyatt Family for that cause. That means he could get away with having multiple superstars in The Wyatt Family, here are who I think should be under consideration if it is to happen.

I think The Wyatt Family could play a big part in the tag team division if they recruit Konnor and Viktor. Earlier this year, rumours suggested that The Ascension would be the newest members of The Wyatt Family, but that didn’t come to fruition.

The Ascension need some help right now. Their time on the main roster hasn’t gone down too well and aligning themselves with Wyatt could be a huge deal for them.

They would have his support, and their success could also rub off on the remainder of the group. Konnor and Viktor already have a great look which suits them perfectly, this could be great for their careers.

Another addition could be made from NXT, this time in the form of Baron Corbin. Corbin is somebody who probably will need help starting on the main roster, as he hasn’t had huge individual success on NXT.

He’s been limited to squash matches, but that can only get him so far on the main roster. However, it has helped to make him look unbeatable which could be key in The Wyatt Family.

He’d bring a different dynamic to the group, he looks the most different but he still has a unique look which would fit in with everyone else. Every group helps bring out a breakout star, Corbin could very well be the one who breaks away to find success.

If the WWE are serious about bringing in Sister Abigail, then it has to be somebody from NXT. It would make no sense to use somebody well-known on the main roster because fans already know who it is.

Paige for example. Fans have been calling for Paige to play Sister Abigail, but that would make no sense at all. Especially since we know who Paige is, what she looks like and what she’s achieved.

Sister Abigail would need to be somebody the main roster fans have never seen. She wouldn’t even need to wrestle, that’s the beauty of it all. It’s a huge risk bringing in a Sister Abigail character, but if the correct diva is chosen from NXT then the decision could pay off.

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman, The Ascension, Baron Corbin and Sister Abigail? Maybe this is a stable the WWE needs to invest in sooner rather than later.

Bray Wyatt needs a stable of more than three superstars to prove that his powerful words that people confuse with rambling, do have the desired effect.
