Chelsea completed the signing of Senegalese defender Papy Djilobodji last night, although the deal hasn’t been officially confirmed. According to The Independent a deal for the 26-year-old was agreed yesterday with Nantes for a lowly £2.7million. The same report says that the Blues are still looking to tie up a late move for Everton’s John Stones, though said signing gives them cover if they can’t push that one through. On another front Victor Moses has penned a new deal with Chelsea but will spend this season on loan with West Ham. According to various sources the Nigerian will be playing in claret and blue this campaign, but will return to Stamford Bridge once more next summer. Lastly Juventus star Paul Pogba continues to be linked with the Blues, though that deal doesn’t look feasible before the end of the day.
