1. Bench Ivanovic

The Serbian international has undoubtedly been the worst among the starting eleven with majority of the goals that Chelsea have conceded being from Ivanovic’s end.

Players like Jefferson Montero (Swansea), Callum McManaman (West Brom), Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace) may not be members of a top four club but have tormented the 31-year-old in the first few games both home and away.

2. Play Cesar Azpilicueta at Right-back

The best defender for The Blues, Azpilicueta’s work rate is commendable and although not being a natural left-back has cemented the position under Mourinho’s guidance, keeping the likes of Ashley Cole and Filipe Luis out of the starting line-up in earlier seasons.

The 26-year-old has admitted that he is ready to play wherever the manager wants him to play and with right-back his usual spot, would settle in the role with ease.

3. Baba Rahman at Left-back

The Ghanaian defender may not be a household name yet but the youngster was one of the outstanding performers in Bundesliga that led to the upsurge of Augsburg, surprising many last season.

His brilliant forward runs and good crossing skills would be beneficial to the squad in the long run.
