It's uncertain as to whether the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United were genuinely interested in the 33-year-old, but it certainly appears that AC Milan were ready to bring him back to Italy's elite division.

“A lot of interest but I said from the beginning that I will stay with PSG. I like it, we have a good team, my family feel good and it's just positive with Paris and PSG. But they wanted, they wanted much.”
Ibrahimovic was then asked about interest from Premier League outfit Arsenal, where he claimed: “No, so the interest that existed, I have not committed myself to.
“It is Mino [Raiola] who takes care of the pieces. When I give notice that I want something to happen I get involved. But this summer I have been resting up, I enjoyed the holiday, but I know that Milan were a bit desperate.”
Let's be honest, it now appears to be more certain than ever that Ibrahimovic won't be plying his trade in the Premier League.
Ultimately, having enjoyed stints in Spain, Italy and France, it's certainly a shame that the Swedish star has failed to move to England throughout the course of his career, but he will go down as one of the most enigmatic and exciting strikers to have played the game.
There's no doubt about it, Ibrahimovic is a legend in his own right, and still has something to give before the end of his career.
