Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts in order to get his career back on track after falling out of favour at Anfield.
The Spanish left-back was expected to leave the Reds on transfer deadline day, but a reported move to West Brom failed to materialise.
However, Enrique denied the Baggies were interested in securing his services with his final tweet. The Daily Mail claim he tweeted: “Just to let you all know that it wasn't any offer from West Brom for me. I'm happy to stay and fight for my place.”

Shortly afterwards, after receiving abuse from Liverpool fans for posting one too many holiday snaps, Enrique posted a message on Instagram confirming his decision to delete his social networking accounts.
“I thought it was good to share with the fans pictures but I think they been killing me for that,” he was quoted as saying by 101 Great Goals. “Ok chao [sic] Instagram and Twitter. Focus on play football and show myself again. #YNWA”

Enrique might not play for Liverpool again
Enrique, though, faces an uphill battle to salvage his Liverpool career with the additional competition now at Anfield.
The Reds’ former first-choice left-back made just four Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season following the arrival of Alberto Moreno.
Now Moreno himself has been knocked down the pecking order following the summer signing of Joe Gomez, the 18-year-old who has settled in at Anfield with consummate ease following his move from Charlton Athletic, leaving Enrique as the third-choice left-back.
A move away from the Merseyside club would have been more beneficial to the 29-year-old - but he seems to believe he has what it takes to win back the faith of manager Brendan Rodgers.
