The reason for Bray Wyatt's recent in-ring absence has been revealed and it comes as little surprise to those who are members of the WW Universe.

As WrestlingNews.Co reports, Ric Flair revealed on his WOOOOO! Nation podcast that Bray Wyatt is currently nursing a shoulder injury which explains why he has not wrestled for some time now.

Although Wyatt has still been making regular appearances on WWE television programming, his in-ring time has certainly been limited with many wrestling fans wondering why.

It has not been made clear how the 28-year-old picked up the injury, but he has been involved in several multiple-person matches as well as street-fight style matches as a result.

Plan B

Even though an injury is never ideal, WWE can rest easy for the time being despite Wyatt being out on constant in-ring action for some time. This is because they have two strong characters representing the Wyatt Family through Luke Harper and Braun Strowman, with the latter recently being revealed as the family's new addition.

Since his unveiling, his stature alone has doubtlessly cemented his position as an ideal fit for the Wyatt Family, as well as his intriguing character.

During this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, Strowman competed in his first WWE match with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper accompanying him to the ring. Strowman's debut match saw him take on Dean Ambrose, to continue the ongoing feud between the Wyatt Family and two former members of The Shield in Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

Impressive debut

This bout was one of the highlights of this week's episode of Raw, with Strowman unquestionably proving his dominance and making his mark as an intimidating Wyatt Family member.

Ambrose was ultimately made to look significantly weak, with Strowman gaining the victory through an interference by Reigns, which meant Ambrose was disqualified as a result.

Despite Strowman clearly proving his worth by putting both previous members of The Shield to shame, his fellow Wyatt Family members closed the segment by joining him in the ring.

What this match as well as Wyatt's injury in addition to Erick Rowan's absence clearly proves is that this group is one which is invincible.

Whether as individuals or together, these wrestlers who make up the Wyatt Family are certainly a forced o be reckoned with and once Bray Wyatt is back to full fitness, it will take something special to take down the might of all of them.
