Even the most die-hard WWE fans accept that the matches they watch every week are subject to pre-determined decisions and storylines.

That doesn't stop people betting on their outcomes though, with the WWE odds market bigger than ever before.

Hint?

In fact, the choreographed nature of WWE fights mean those betting trends can actually often be a better indicator, compared to other sports, of how big nights will pan out. The odds, released for the first time today, for the WWE title match between Seth Rollins and Sting at Night of Champions will then make interesting reading, even for those keeping their money in their wallets.

Ever since Sting stunned Seth Rollins in the aftermath of SummerSlam, the hype surrounding his chances of coming away from Night of Champions with the WWE Heavyweight Championship - thus completing an epic wrestling legacy - has been growing.

The odds released today though by BetWrestling suggest the WWE is heading towards only one outcome. As reported by NoDq.com, the oddsmakers have Seth Rollins as a extremely heavy -400 favorite to defeat his veteran rival. Sting is well and truly the underdog at +280.

With Sting remaining a part-time figure in the WWE (his Night of Champions match will be only his second since joining the company last year) it is perhaps no surprise that the WWE would keep Seth Rollins with the title round his waist.

Having said that, although most matches with such a heavy favorite would usually lead to a correlating result come the big night, the fact Rollins vs Sting is happening on a pay-per-view night could mean an upset is on the cards.
