Smackdown is proving to be somewhat of an enigma to the WWE Universe with some shows proving pointless and the occasional one proving instrumental.
There is a large number of fans who don't even bother watching the WWE's second weekly offering of television.

John Cena doesn't even appear on Smackdown any more and the show has really become more optional to some fans than the must-see appeal of Monday night RAW.
But it is all set to change with the show set to change networks from Syfy to the USA Network come January.
Despite the big network change, the latest rumours surrounding the show don't paint a very good image for the brand's future.
It is currently being speculated that the WWE have somewhat lost interest in Smackdown until it moves to a new home.
However there are big plans in place for the show in the build up to WrestleMania with it rumoured to be becoming on the same level as RAW.
It won't last long though as Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer predicts that once WrestleMania is over, it will once again become an effortless production.
To make the show of the same calibre as RAW and then to lose interest in the whole thing would be a very bizarre tactic for them to employ with the show.
Who knows what the future holds for the show but we can only hope that they do in fact make some form of improvements once it moves to a new network.
