The 35-year-old believes former Chelsea, now Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech, and his old England and Manchester City team-mate Joe Hart are the two best keepers he has faced throughout his time in football.
As per the Mirror, he said: "I've played against Harty, and stuck a few past him over the years, but I've been fortunate enough to train with him for a year at Manchester City and realised how good a goalkeeper he is. We were very fortunate to have him and for England.
"Petr Cech on the same note, he is a fantastic goalkeeper. Two brilliant pros and I've got complete respect for both of them. There are lots of good goalies out there but I've been closely working with those two and they're brilliant."
Lampard will be remembered as one of, if not the best midfielder ever to grace the Premier League. His record of 147 goals in 429 games in the top flight, for Chelsea, in midfield is simply remarkable.
He was inspirational in helping the Stamford Bridge club to three Premier League titles, and popped up with some important goals, despite playing a bit-part role, for the City last season.
Likewise Petr Cech will be remembered as one of the best in his position once he departs England.
The Czech stopper was a mainstay in the Chelsea side for ten years before losing his place to Thibaut Courtois, and is now the number one at London rivals Arsenal.
Joe Hart has returned stronger from his dip in form and is now, once again, talked about as one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
His performances for Manchester City since January have been reminiscent of the form he showed when first breaking into the team and is the base for what could prove a hugely successful season for the Etihad club this season.
