It has been a very different summer transfer window to what the Bundesliga normally experiences.

Deals have been struck later than normal and signings made at the last moment as a number of sides utilised every minute up until Monday's 6pm deadline, to make valuable additions to their squads.

The most high profile - and high value - transfers naturally involved Premier League clubs, including Kevin De Bruyne's eventual move to Manchester City and Chelsea relieving Ausgburg of highly-rated left back Abdul Rahman Baba for a fee that eclipses their entire wage budget for a season.

Yet despite a plethora of big name departures, new names in Germany's premier competition have begun the season in fine form.

Some are well-known to the Bundesliga while others are newcomers who have shone in their opening outings.
