It is fair to say that the Tennessee Titans will be pinning a fair amount of their hopes on Marcus Mariota this season.
The Titans took the Heisman winning quarterback with the second overall pick in the 2015 Draft, an will be hoping the former Oregon star can replicate the success he had in college in to the pro game.
And the Hawaii native is taking like a duck to water in the National Football League, with a solid enough pre-season being wrapped up excellently last night.

Mariota's first series in the game was a good one. In fact, it was impressive enough for the Titans to take him out of the game because they knew he was ready.
Mariota recorded his first touchdown pass as a Titan, and it was a good one, a 59-yarder to Harry Douglas that showed exceptional maturity, reading through all his progressions and staying in the pocket despite a heavy rush.

Mariota seemed happy at the end of the game, saying that he felt that he had gelled with his new teammates and they were getting in to a groove as they head in to the 2015 campaign.
“It’s really exciting to be a part of this offense,” Mariota said. “Guys are continuing to get better, and I feel that we built a solid foundation throughout the preseason. Now it’s time to go.”
Through the pre-season, Mariota had completed 21-of-30 passing attempts for 326 yards, one touchdown, an interception and a very tidy 102.9 passer rating.
