New Manchester United signing Anthony Martial came off the bench to make his international debut last night as France secured a 1-0 friendly victory over Portugal.
The 19-year-old, who completed a stunning £36 million move to the Red Devils on transfer deadline day, replaced Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema with 16 minutes remaining at Sporting Lisbon's Jose Alvalade stadium.
It's certainly been a whirlwind past week or so for the talented forward, who capped it off in style last night as he made his bow for his national side.

And, all-in-all, it proved a successful period for the youngster, with the French securing the victory late on in Portugal thanks to a wonderful free-kick from Lyon ace Mathieu Valbuena.
France, of course, have already qualified for Euro 2016 as the home national, so Martial will most definitely be hoping for more opportunities to express himself as he goes in search of a place in the squad for next summer's tournament.
He has the platform
And, one thing's for sure, at Manchester United, Martial has the platform to prove his credentials week in, week out. There's no doubt about it, pundits and fans alike will no doubt continue to question the player's huge-price tag, but there's no reason why it won't spur the youngster on in Manchester.
He's certainly a remarkable talent and he could yet prove his early critics wrong sooner rather than later. Manchester United and France could have a special player at their disposal.
