Manchester United have signed a 'very good player' in Anthony Martial, according to Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez.
Martial, of course, capped off a fine week in style after he made his debut on the international stage for France last night as he replaced Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema with 16 minutes remaining.

And, despite the huge sum paid for his signature, he's certainly been backed to prove his credentials in Manchester by an unlikely source.
"He is great prospect for the future. He broke through last season and is a very good player," Fernandez said to Mundo Deportivo.
"United have paid a lot of money to get him but if a club pay that... he has a huge potential for progression. But I'd rather not talk about players from other clubs."
Exciting for United
Of course, there was an element of surprise with the signing of Martial, but it's certainly an exciting one for the Manchester United faithful.
Ultimately, at 19 years of age, he now has the platform to express himself and prove his credentials on the grandest stage. He will bring a great deal to the United team, too. Clearly, over the course of the last couple of years, the Red Devils have lacked pace.
In Martial and, of course, Memphis Depay, Manchester United now have two top talents, who will change the dynamics of the club as an attacking force.
