Montee Ball demoted by Denver Broncos

Published 3 Comments

NFL fans may remember when the Denver Broncos landed Montee Ball as a second-round draft pick in 2013. Well, they’ll now be becoming accustomed to the fact that he’s been cut by the franchise, after being relegated from No.2 running-back to No.4. He joins center Gino Gradkowski in being waived from the squad, that coming after the Broncos claimed Mitchell Henry and James Ferentz. With the likes of Ronnie Hillman having outperformed Ball in pre-season it’s hardly a surprise, particularly as the Broncos’ General Manager John Elway, has already described the roster as being fluid. Meanwhile in the NBA Kevin Durant has picked his all-time starting five, and it’s jam-packed with legends of the game. Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Shaquille O’Neal made his squad. Quite the team indeed.
