It’s not long now until FIFA 16 hits the shelves and Manchester United fans eager to use their favourite players are now able to see how EA Sports have rated Louis van Gaal’s squad.
In truth, it’s a mixed bag this year. There are better squads in the game, but United still have several players with half-decent ratings.
Three players have 86/100 ratings - Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger and David de Gea - while Sergio Romero is the United player with the lowest rating. The Argentina international is rated 76/100 - lower than Anders Lindegaard.

These ratings are taken from the reliable FUThead.com website and are set to be confirmed by EA Sports within the coming days.
United fans are likely to be disappointed with some of the ratings, including Memphis Depay, who is only rated at 81/100. The Netherlands international does, however, have 90 pace which should make him a popular - and expensive - signing in the new version of Ultimate Team.
Are the ratings fair this year?
Juan Mata is rated 84, Morgan Schneiderlin has an 82 rating, while defenders Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo are both rated 81.
Luke Shaw, though, is only rated 77. Surely the England and Manchester United left-back deserved better than 82 pace, too?
There’s currently uncertainty about Manchester United’s £36 million summer signing Anthony Martial.
FUThead.com have the 19-year-old rated at 69 - making him a silver player in FIFA 16 - whereas several screenshots on Twitter show Martial as a gold player, rated 77, which seems more realistic after his big-money move to Old Trafford.
