In a bizarre story, Leicester City fans can apparently take great pride in the interest from this big club in one of their star players at this early stage of the season.
Algerian winger, Riyad Mahrez has hit the ground running this season, after playing a pivotal role helping newly promoted Leicester stay in the Premier League last season.
After being somewhat of an unknown entity before his £350,000 move from Le Havre in the January transfer window of 2014, his prolific start to the season has seen him net for goals for Claudio Ranieri, which puts him joint at the top of the goal scoring charts with Swansea's Bafetembi Gomis, and Leicester currently sit third and remain unbeaten.

It was this form that has subjected Mahrez to apparent interest from Catalan giants Barcelona, who are keen on finding a replacement to bolster their attacking options having sold Pedro to Chelsea earlier this summer.
However, Mahrez is under contract with the Midlands side until 2019, but the Spanish scouts have been put on high alert and will continue to monitor his performance should his impressive streak continue.
Barcelona are also rumoured to be interested in Manchester City's Jesus Navas who has fallen from grace at the Etihad after the signings of Raheem Sterling and De Bruyne.
Arsenal's Theo Walcott is also linked, but a move seems unlikely to happen for the England international.
Failing this Barcelona could turn to Celta Vigo winger Nolito, as they await the lifting of the transfer embargo this coming January, and I am sure manager Luis Enrique will have a list of talented players he wants to recruit.
