Manchester United still haven't received an enquiry for Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera, according to the Daily Mail.
With the Spanish duo of Barcelona and Valencia yet to step up their reported interest in the talented 26-year-old, the report claims that Herrera looks set to stay on in Manchester.
After the Red Devils improved in the middle of the park throughout the course of the summer, Herrera has endured a tricky start to the season on English soil.

In fact, the dynamic ace had to settle for a number of cameo appearances in the opening few weeks of the season, however he managed to force his way into Louis van Gaal's side before the international break.
And, with the report from the Mail claiming that Barcelona have held an interest in the midfielder for some time, it's far from certain as to whether the Catalans will make their move anytime soon. For now, it appears that Herrera will continue to ply his trade under the Van Gaal regime.
Herrera must play
There's no doubt about it, as Manchester United go in search of success this season, Herrera deserves to be handed a key role in the side.
Ultimately, the Spaniard adds a great deal to the United team, and his importance to the cause shouldn't be underestimated. The Red Devils, without Herrera in the side, clearly lack a runner from the midfield department.
If United are intent on overhauling Chelsea at the summit of the Premier League table this term, then Van Gaal would be foolish to overlook Herrera. It should be a huge season ahead for the extremely talented Manchester United star.
