Czech Republic captain Tomas Rosicky will miss his side´s final qualifier against Cyprus after it was agreed he could return to Arsenal.

The midfielder played and scored in Saturday´s 3-1 triumph over Slovakia but, as the Czechs had already secured qualification for Euro 2008, Arsenal asked if he could return to his club. Rosicky insists the victory was tougher than last year´s 3-0 demolition of Slovakia in the first qualification meeting between the sides.

"In comparison to our last year win in Bratislava, the Slovaks have quite improved," he said.
