Didier Deschamps has also shown confidence in Martial after awarding him his second full international cap in France's 2-1 win over Serbia in the Euro 2016 group stage on Monday night. This is not the first time Deschamps has expressed his admiration of the front man, stating that Martial possesses the strength and speed not found in many of the today's forwards.
The stats also confirm Martial's potential, netting nine goals with three assists in Ligue 1 at AS Monaco, an impressive feat for such a young player still honing his trade.

Though there has been no shortage of those ready to slate the inflated price tag, questioning whether Martial will buckle under the pressure of such a sum, the player himself seems quite content and has recently stated, "I don't know if I'm worth €80 million but I don't worry about the sums,
"I'm going there for the football side of things. The price is between the two clubs, I don't see myself under any pressure other than proving myself on the pitch."
Continuing on he said, "It's true it's a crazy sum for a player of my age but that's the football market and I can't change that. It's between the two clubs. I know not to let myself get distracted and to concentrate on what happens on the pitch."
Anthony Martial may make his Manchester United debut in a league fixture versus Liverpool on Saturday.
