United gave Januzaj the iconic number 11 shirt which defines the legacy of United’s all-time great Ryan Giggs. He started this season in his favourite number-10 position and also scored the winner against Villa in the Barclays Premier League.

Putting further light on the matter, Januzaj is full of talent and will be vital for United in the future. For him, it is an opportunity to play more games and enhance his craft. He will get the experience of playing in a different league with a different mindset in a different style, a combination that can only aid his development.
Dortmund will provide him with a fresh environment. It is important that Januzaj uses this year to make an impression and make further improvements as a player. Alternatively if he struggles, his career could follow a similar path to that of Nani and Javier Hernandez, who departed this summer after spending last year on loan abroad.
His parent club Manchester United are banking a lot on him. A good loan spell and an improved Januzaj will mean more productive options for United authorities in the seasons to follow.
