The WWE has a less than stellar reputation when it comes to being fair to its performers of an ethnic background.
The company still hasn't had a black World Champion, even when Booker T was one of the biggest stars on the show, he was only given the Intercontinental Championship and had to job to Triple H when he finally got a title shot.
And then there are the companies Latino stars, who have also been treated less than exemplary. And this has the WWE worried ahead of their upcoming tour of Mexico.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via Wrestling Inc, the WWE have very real worries that their will be a backlash from Mexican fans after the company got rid of both Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio.
According to the report, the reason that the WWE have stars such as The Undertaker, Ric Flair and Chris Jericho at the shows is because they are concerned about insinuations that they are racist to Mexicans, following the treatment of Del Rio and Mysterio.
Del Rio's Firing
Del Rio was fired by Triple H after he reacted to a WWE employee making a racist joke at his expense. Cody Barbierri - who worked in WWE social media - made a joke about Del Rio cleaning up his plate at Lunch and the former Heavyweight Champion hit him.
Normally, one would find just cause in Del Rio reacting the way he did to such a disgusting comment, but not the WWE, who decided that Alberto was in the wrong and let him go after he refused to apologize to the person who racially abused him.
You can guess why that might upset Mexican WWE fans, who the company has been desperately trying to win back after they turned away from the WWE following the dismissals of Mysterio and Del Rio.
