Red Star Belgrade coach Milorad Kosanovic has parted company with the club in the wake of their 3-0 UEFA Cup defeat to Aris Salonika.

Kosanovic only took charge in the early stages of the season when Bosko Djurovski quit the post, but the team have struggled to live up to expectations and sit third in the Serbian Superliga, seven points adrift of leaders Partizan Belgrade.

They have also lost both of their matches in UEFA Cup Group F, against Bayern Munich and Aris, and Kosanovic admitted there has been unrest since the departure of the club´s president last month.
