Ramos turns attention to Wigan

Published Add your comment

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos admits his focus turned to this weekend´s game with Wigan, after two goals in the first half put his team in command of their UEFA Cup clash against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Ramos has two wins in his first three games since arriving at Spurs - but both were in cup ties, and addressing Premier League form is the priority.

"I was impressed with the performance, although we did not play at our best," he said. "I was also thinking about the Wigan match; I saw the team grow in confidence and I am confident about Sunday´s match."
