Bordeaux have one foot in the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Austria Vienna.

Brazilian midfielder Wendell coolly slotted a penalty home in the 88th minute after Marouane Chamakh had cancelled out Sanel Kuljic´s early opener for the hosts.

Les Girondins won their opening pool match 2-1 at home to Galatasaray a fortnight ago, and knew a win in Vienna would put them on the brink of qualification from Group H.
