Cristiano Ronaldo has stunned followers this week, announcing his new fragrance. The fragrance, named 'Legacy', was revealed to the world on his official twitter account, where he posted a photo of himself alongside the product.
One charge often levelled at the Portuguese is that his vanity gets in the way of his football, and this will provide further ammunition to those commentators. There seems little reason for Ronaldo to commission this, but he is no stranger to business ventures, having opened a museum about himself at home in Portugal.
The superstar has received plenty of press for his latest venture, particularly in the light of his unimpressive start to the season. Ronaldo is yet to score for Real Madrid, and the man who brought la Decima to the Bernabeu after so many years of hurt, will have to start scoring quickly if Madrid are to mount a challenge for La Liga this term.

Fortunately for the 30-year-old, his arch rival, Lionel Messi, is also yet to get off the mark in this campaign. It is unclear why the pair have started slowly, but nobody is expecting it to continue. Messi endured a difficult summer, losing in the Copa America final for Argentina, as well.
Ronaldo, a three-time Ballon D'or winner, is among the best players in the history of the game - and this fragrance seems to confirm that he sees himself in the pantheon now. His legacy is confirmed, but there is always more to achieve, and even Ronaldo may need occasional reminding of this.
