Veh finds positives in Euro exit

Published Add your comment

Stuttgart coach Armin Veh refused to be too downbeat following his side´s early exit from Europe on Wednesday.

A 4-2 defeat at Lyon saw Stuttgart tumble out of the Champions League following their fourth defeat in as many Group E outings, while their hopes of parachuting into the UEFA Cup were also extinguished after their second loss to the French champions.

"I have seen lots of positives," said Veh, who added that his side had "wanted to take the small chance we had of continuing" in Europe.
