Bryan was in the United Arab Emirates promoting the release of the new WWE video game WWE 2K16, and was interviewed by The National in Abu Dhabi, where he gave an update on his injury status.
When asked if he would be returning to the ring any time soon, Bryan just said that he had no idea when he'd be back.
"I have no idea," Bryan said. "I wish I could give you a solid answer. I feel great. I have been cleared by doctors. But getting the WWE to clear me has been a little bit sticky, given my concussion history."
Bryan went on to add that he thinks the WWE is playing it safe and that he is currently in the process of trying to get the opinions of other neurologists on board to convince the WWE he is okay to return.
"They are just looking out for my best interests. We are trying to get with more doctors to get me more support to get me back in the ring as soon as possible," he added.
Bryan later went on to speak about facing Brock Lesnar when he returns and that he feels like a feud with 'The Beast' - at WrestleMania to boot - would be his ultimate dream match.
