Injury troubles and Arsenal come together as frequently as Arsene Wenger and French players, so fans might not be too surprised to learn that Jack Wilshere is facing another crisis. The England international was expected to be close to a return from injury, after suffering a hairline fracture to his left leg. The Daily Mail though say that his progress has been far slower than it should have been, with the midfielder facing the possibility of being out for three months if surgery is required. If it isn’t then he could still spend around four weeks on the sidelines, whilst teammate Danny Welbeck will be out until at least Christmas On the latter front Wenger did plead this morning that he hadn’t lied regarding the extent of Welbeck’s issues. The Frenchman had told the press on August 27 that the striker was recovering well.
