Golden State Warriors star gives record-breaking donation for this reason

NBA star Draymond Green is donating $3.1million to his alma mater in order to reward them for their men’s basketball program. According to reports, the Golden State Warriors forward has added philanthropist to his list of traits, after offering the lump sum to the Michigan State Spartans. The Board of Trustees at the university is yet to approve the donation, but it’s assumed it will be received in earnest. Green graduated from Michigan State in 2012, and last year won the NBA championship with the Warriors. Over to the NFL and the New York Patriots began their season with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom Brady was in excellent condition as he threw four touchdowns - including three to Rob Gronkowski - with the Patriots recording a 28-21 win over their ineffective opponents at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
