Vanquished Valencia seek home comforts

Published Add your comment

Valencia coach Quique Sanchez Flores acknowledges that his side´s two upcoming home matches in the Champions League have taken on extra importance following their defeat to Rosenborg.

Valencia slumped to a shock 2-0 reverse in Norway on Wednesday and, having also lost 2-1 to Chelsea in their last European outing, are now third in Group B, four points adrift of top spot.

"The calculations mean that by winning the two home games we can then see what our chances are before the visit to Chelsea in the last game of the group," Sanchez Flores said.
