Liverpool fans fed up with manager Brendan Rodgers have come up with an ambitious plan to get him sacked.
Supporter Michael Gavin is so tired of the “insipid football” on display from the Reds that he wants to raise enough money to pay the Northern Irish coach to leave Anfield.
Gavin understands it would cost Liverpool €10 million (£7.3 million) to sack Rodgers, who signed a new long-term deal with the Merseyside outfit in May 2014, and has so far managed to raise €15 (£11).

Fan explains reasons behind the idea
“Brendan Rodgers time is up theres [sic] not much more of this insipid football anyone can take, from the horrific signings to the tired cliches used in the media week in week out enough is enough,” the fund-raising page at Go Fund Me states. “Its [sic] reporeted [sic] that it will take [€]10,000,000 to sack him so this page has been setup [sic] to show FSG that LFC fans are so desperate to get rid off him that we are willing to pay for his sacking.

Klopp's shadow looming over Rodgers
As well as two disgruntled Liverpool supporters offering their hard-earned cash to see Rodgers handed his P45, the page has also been shared 116 times on Facebook and Twitter.
The pressure is weighing down heavily on Rodgers’ shoulders after a disappointing 2014-15 campaign.
Some feel the 42-year-old was fortunate to keep his job this summer, and perhaps it would have been a different story had Klopp been available.
The highly-rated German coach, who left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season, is currently taking time out of the game - but is hungry to return, potentially to the Premier League, in January.
