Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Manchester United moved to within a win of a place in the Champions League knockout phase with a comfortable 4-2 win against Dynamo Kiev.

Ronaldo struck once in each half, after Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney had given United a flying start in the Olympic Stadium.

While Diogo Rincon and Ismael Bangoura found the net to keep things interesting for the Ukrainians, United were never seriously threatened - and victory in the re-match at Old Trafford in a fortnight will take them into the last 16 with two games to spare.
