Mysterio on his future
Rey Mysterio has thanked fans of the WWE for supporting him during his time with the organisation, but also confirmed that there was no imminent return on the cards.
In a series of tweets the Mexican wrestler said plans were heading in other directions, but didn’t rule out a return to wrestling under Vince McMahon in the future.
Mysterio also said the WWE had a good understand with regards to his departure, implying that there remains no confusion over what he wants to do moving forward.
Cena's Championship bid
Meanwhile, the slightly more surprising information looks at the rumours that John Cena won’t be involved in any World Heavyweight Championship picture until next year.
According to speculation the WWE plan on instead making Roman Reigns the champion, with him then set to face Cena in 2016 after having defended his title a number of times. We’ll stress that it is just gossip at the moment, but it is interesting all the same.
Last but not least, Bobby Horne - more commonly known as Mo - has revealed details of an altercation with Shawn Michaels that led to him attempting suicide.
The former WWE star said that Michaels had reacted adversely to a late change of plan to a show in Israel in the ‘90s, with the 50-year-old having hit Horne in the back as a result of Horne’s partner at the time, Nelson, pulling out of a tag-team match.
