Jim Ross has said he would like to see The Dudley Boyz take on The Hardy Boyz in a TLC match at WrestleMania next year.
The WWE Hall of Famer made the request on his blog, where he also talked about The Undertaker retiring and his autobiography.
When commenting on the speculation surrounding a possible return of The Hardy Boyz to the WWE, Ross said: "Interesting speculation online that the Hardy Boys might be back on the WWE radar. I have no idea if this is true or not but I don’t think it is a bad idea if they were utilized much like the Dudley’s have been lately.

"Jeff and Matt had a spectacular tag team run in WWE while Jeff was close to becoming a big time, singles star, as well. Jeff’s ladder match with Undertaker is still one of my most vivid broadcasting memories.
"The Hardy’s and the Dudley’s in a TLC match at Wrestlemania Texas would certainly be attractive to Attitude Era fans who are looking for a reason to reconnect with the brand and sample the WWE Network."
An interesting request by the Hall of Famer. One that certainly shouldn't go unnoticed by the WWE. After all, The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz put on some of the greatest TLC matches the WWE has ever seen alongside the likes of Edge and Christian.
Every person that is a WWE fan should know about the Triple Threat TLC Match at WrestleMania X-Seven on April 1, 2001, probably one of the best TLC matches of all time. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you find it on the WWE Network as soon as you get the chance.
If the WWE were able to replicate the impact The Dudley Boyz had when they returned to the WWE with The Hardy Boyz, and set up another brilliant TLC match for WrestleMania 32, die-hard Attitude Era fans would be subscribing to the network in their millions.
Maybe Edge and Christian could be special referee's, a move that would complete the in-ring reunion of the extreme trio.
