Marseille goalscorer Boudewijn Zenden believes his side´s 1-0 victory over Lens on Sunday evening could spark a revival of the team´s domestic fortunes.

Marseille have won both their opening Champions League clashes against Besiktas and Liverpool but until Sunday had only won one match in Ligue 1 and were in the bottom three.

Zenden, 31, told "It was a pleasure for me to score, especially for the team. For two weeks, we have trained hard and with the new coach (Eric Gerets) we have clear ideas. We were playing against a team that likes playing on the counter-attack."
