Via Wrestling News, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer mentioned on Sunday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that it’s possible Orton could appear on Raw in a dark match or segment and confront the Wyatts.
The WWE could be fitting in as many appearances of The Viper as possible before he eventually takes hold of his lighter schedule with both hands. The company still has an array of fantastic talent on their roster and should be able to cope without him.
Night of Champions Involvement
Having Orton involved in the storyline with Ambrose, Reigns, and The Wyatt Family provides lots of ways for a kayfabe injury angle to give him his reduced schedule.
Rumours have been going round that Reigns and Ambrose could split, with one of them turning heel. To complete the heel turn, one of them could attack and injure Orton if the team loses at Night of Champions.
It has been speculated that Reigns will be given the WWE World Heavyweight Championship sometime soon. Having Orton feud with him during this title reign would be excellent business for the WWE as they should put on some great matches.
