Ranieri hails Juve fighting spirit

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri hailed his team´s spirit after their narrow triumph over Genoa saw them keep up the pace with Serie A leaders Internazionale.

Bianconeri captain Alessandro Del Piero scored the only goal to allow the Turin giants to beat Genoa and climb second in the standings, three points behind Inter after eight games.

"We played against a great team," admitted Ranieri. "Genoa are very difficult team to play against but my team fought and showed a great spirit."
