Dudek will play waiting game

Jerzy Dudek is willing to bide his time for a crack at a first-team spot with Real Madrid.

The Poland international moved to the Bernabeu this summer but has yet to feature in any of Real´s opening nine league and Champions League fixtures, with Spain number one Iker Casillas an ever-present between the sticks.

"It is the coach´s decision, I came here and wanted from the start to have a great relationship with Iker," said Dudek. "That is not to say I don´t want to play as many minutes as possible, but we have only played seven games in the league and a lot of the season is left. We all have to be in good form and I am going to wait for my opportunity"
