Becky Lynch needs to be the Seth Rollins of Team PCB

It’s safe to assume that Charlotte will be dethroning Nikki Bella for the Diva’s Championship, and it could happen as early as Night of Champions.

She’s a safe option to go with because she’s the one the company believes in to carry the championship and possibly the division.

You can’t argue with that. She’s fantastic in the ring and has had a great year both on NXT and on the main roster.

With Charlotte’s success so far, we have seen a slight change of attitude within the Team PCB camp, especially with Paige.

Is her instant success eating them up? Nobody knows, but Team PCB won’t be a team forever. In fact, we should expect to see them going their separate ways very soon.

From what we see on our screens, Paige looks like the one who will probably turn heel, and a feud will ignite between herself and Charlotte. However, I believe Becky Lynch should be the one that turns heel.

In other terms, she needs to be the Seth Rollins of Team PCB.

We all know the story of what happened between The Shield, Rollins stabbed Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in the back.

Whilst it wasn’t good for fans of The Shield, it worked out perfectly for Rollins as he found enormous success. He’s currently the WWE World Heavyweight and the United States Champion.

When The Shield were at the height of their success, fans believed it would be Reigns who achieves the most.

The WWE had faith in him and were going to invest a lot in him to succeed. On the other hand, it looked as if Rollins would be the one who struggles. Clearly it didn’t go that way.

We can see this in Team PCB also, Paige is more like the Ambrose of the group while the WWE are investing a lot in Charlotte like they did with Reigns.

At the minute it looks as if Becky is the one taking a back seat, and if things continue to play out the way they are then it won’t really help her on the main roster.

I do believe Becky has a lot to offer, she’s an all-round great athlete. It’s not as if she’s the weak link of the group, nobody is. Just like The Shield, nobody was really the weak link.

However, it’s the fact that Becky hasn’t had a lot of focus on her compared to Charlotte and Paige, much like Reigns and Ambrose.

If anyone should turn heel, I do think it needs to be Becky. She has a great offence and her in-ring style is great with plenty of suplexes on display.

Rollins wasn’t the obvious choice to turn heel, many fans believed the natural choice would be Ambrose because of how entertaining he is as a heel.

Rollins turning heel was a surprise, the same applies to Becky. Many fans believe Paige is the natural choice to turn heel but to make it a huge surprise it should be Becky.

Obviously it’s not fair to compare a relatively new stable in Team PCB to a successful stable in The Shield, but the same principle applies.

More focus will be given to the one that turns on the group, Charlotte and Paige will succeed either way. The WWE need to get the best out of Becky by having her be the one that turns on the group.

This will also open up so many opportunities for Becky as a heel, with plenty of interesting match-ups available in the long run.
