As the WWE Universe continues to speculate about just who will join Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against the Wyatt Family at Night of Champions, one Superstar who had been hotly tipped to be involved appears to have been ruled out.
PWInsider is reporting, via NoDq.com, that Erick Rowan, the former Wyatt Family member who has been mooted as this Sunday's mystery Superstar, is in no shape to be thrown into such a big pay-per-view event and will not be taking part.
Indeed, having lost his place in the Wyatt Family due to injury, Rowan is only set to begin in-ring work at the Performance Center in the coming days.

The same report makes it clear that the plans are for Rowan to work off "ring rust" in the next few weeks before he is going to be seen back on the main roster.
Erick Rowan hasn't actually been seen in a WWE ring since back in June when, having been working with current Wyatt Family member Luke Harper, he suffered a torn bicep. Reports then suggested a six-month lay-off, so, whilst fans won't be seeing him at Night of Champions, a return before October is still ahead of schedule.
So, if Erick Rowan isn't going to be helping Reigns and Ambrose this weekend, who is?
Although the WWE have done an excellent job keeping the mystery sixth man under wraps, there are several names in the equation.
Only yesterday, The Rock was linked to the match, and the likes of Baron Corbin, Kane and Chris Jericho have seen their names in the running for what is set to be an intriguing match.
