Stelios back for Greece

Published Add your comment

Bolton midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos has been named in the Greece squad for the upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey.

The 33-year old, who can also operate in attack, has not featured for the defending European Champions since the 2-1 home victory over Moldova in June due to a hernia operation.

But the former Olympiacos man has made a full recovery and has made two recent appearances for his club, including coming on as a substitute to score the winner in Bolton´s 2-1 Carling Cup victory over Fulham.
